New Appliance We have just received a brand new
Appliance, this vehicle is a superior upgrade to our out-dated Hino single
cab, The new vehicle is based on a Hino Pro-Ranger 8Z 4x4 Crew Cab which is
powered by a 24v Intercooled turbo diesel 6 Cyl backed with a auto transmission. It has already been called the safest
fire appliance in the world & comes with a long list of specialist
features. More info to follow… Bulk Water Storage Those that live in the Hills know
how important it is to have your own water supply when you don’t have mains
water, We have just upgraded our water storage for refilling our appliances
with the installation of a 31,700L (7000G) Poly tank purchased from
“Polymaster Tanks” with the funding coming kindly from SGIC Insurance Regular Newsletters If you
wish to be kept up to date on what’s happening in our brigade please follow
the link below to download our Monthly Newsletter, in the future we hope to
run a subscription service for this feature. Many thanks go to Don for creating this each month
Welcome to www.echungacfs.org.au , this site has just been hosted on our own domain hopefully this will make things a lot easier for everyone – Work is also continuing on the links at the top of the page although it is rather slow progress, so please be patient. Maintenance
Program During the recent Kuipto Forrest
fire it was noted by several people that our CFS station did not have the
ability to sound the warning siren due a lack of power , alternatives are
being investigated at the moment to
fix this, we are also looking at increasing our bulk water storage and
efficient means to transfer this water --------------------------------------- Member
